SLEEGERS Engineered Products specializes in the fabrication of pressure vessels in a variety of sizes. We can manufacture vessels that are up to 8” wall thickness, up to 13’ diameter and 80’ long weighing up to 80,000 lbs.
Vessels are designed and engineered using CAD systems including finite element analysis and solid modeling. SLEEGERS Engineered Products has expertise in manufacturing vessels from carbon steel (including low temperature carbon steel), stainless steel, Monel, Hastelloy and other exotic materials. Weld Processes include G.T.A.W. (tig), G.M.A.W. (mig), S.M.A.W. (stick), S.A.W. (sub-arc), S.W. (stud welding), and Weld Overlay, for the various material grades and alloys. Procedures also available for post weld heat treatment (PWHT) and charpy impact testing for low temperature services. A diverse set of Weld Procedures have been developed and registered with T.S.S.A., including procedures for Carbon Steels, Stainless Steels, High & Low Temp Ferritic Alloys, Duplex Stainless Steel, Monel, High Strength Q&T Steels, Alloy 276, Alloy 20, Hastelloy B2 and Aluminum. Additional procedures to meet customer need and specifications can be developed.
SLEEGERS Engineered Products has in house testing capabilities including Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT) to CGSB standards, and hydrostatic testing to 10,000 psi. Company approved subcontractors are used for heat treatment, radiography, helium leak, positive material identification (PMI) and ultrasonic tests. The company offers a one-year limited warranty on all its pressure vessel products.
SLEEGERS Engineered Products has the following qualifications required to carry out a wide variety of specialized pressure vessel work:
