SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. has significant expertise in the fabrication of heat exchangers in a variety of sizes and types. The company can manufacture heat exchangers that are up to 8" wall thickness, up to 13' diameter and 80' long weighing up to 80,000 lbs. The company has manufactured a wide variety of heat exchangers including:
- Fin tube coolers
- Fin tube economizers
- Fin tube heaters
- Condensers
- Distillation towers
- Absorption units
- Shell and tube exchangers
SLEEGERS Engineered Products has in-house expertise for the thermal and mechanical design of shell and tube heat exchangers. Design and engineering is performed using CAD systems including finite element analysis.
The company has expertise in manufacturing heat exchangers from carbon steel (including low temperature carbon steel), stainless steel, Monel, Hastelloy and other exotic materials. Welding processes used in the fabrication include flux core, stick, MIG, subarc and TIG welding.
SLEEGERS Engineered Products has in-house testing capabilities including Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT) to CGSB standards, and hydrostatic testing to 10,000 psi. Company approved subcontractors are used for heat treatment, radiography, helium leak, positive material identification (PMI) and ultrasonic tests. The company offers a one-year limited warranty on all its heat exchanger products.
