Vessels
This 63’ tall tower had two different diameter courses coupled with a cone section. The finished weight of the tower was just over 20 tons. For this project SLEEGERS did not build the platforms, however, the weights and wind loads associated with the platforms were included in our calculations. We worked with our customer to perfect the details of clip placement and to ensure field fit up would not have any rework required by performing thorough quality checks. SLEEGERS completed the vessel pictured here in 2008.
This 10’ diameter x 40’ straight air receiver is a relatively simple vessel with few nozzles. We have built 12’ diameter x 60’ straight De-aerator storage tanks without issue. Our shop limit is 13’ diameter x 80’ straight with a 40 ton overhead crane capacity. SLEEGERS completed the 10’ diameter vessel pictured here in 2008.
This is one of several small high pressure assemblies painted, blanked and ready for shipment. Originally the customer did not have design specifications in mind other than the device’s functional requirements. SLEEGERS worked from concept, to prototype, to final design and production of the final vessel pictured here. This particular design has internals that needed to be installed and protected during the fabrication process. SLEEGERS expertise in custom engineering and design requires our welders give extra attention to drawing notes and requirements on a job-by-job basis. SLEEGERS completed these vessels in 2008.
For this project, SLEEGERS worked with vessel head suppliers to fast track the long lead components and finish the vessel with a very fast turnaround time. Drawings were completed and CRN Registration was expedited for delivery on deadline.
